Refund Policy

Returns 

We require proof of purchase. If you can't find this, get in touch with us with the date and time of purchase - we may be able to find a copy for you.

The item should look brand new and be in it's original packaging. If we feel we can't easily resell the item on this basis, we reserve the right to deny exchange.

The item you are exchanging is returned within 21 days of your receipt of the item. This is 21 days from the time you took the item from the store, or 21 days from the date it was delivered to you. If you've had the item for longer, email sales@hoot.com.au with the details of your purchase - we may give you an extension on certain items.

The item is a full priced item. Sale items may be exchanged at our discretion. Again, email us on sales@hoot.com.au if you are in this situation.

Hoot does not refund items due to change of mind. We are happy to exchange or provide a credit note you can use against future purchases.

Exchanges (if applicable) 

Where items are faulty or incomplete, please email the details to sales@hoot.com.au and we will instruct you further. Our policy lasts 21 days. If 21 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

Shipping 
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Hoot Gifts, Shop 14, Royal Arcade, 335 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
